Discover Society COVID-19

Illustration for online journal Discover Society, for the article ‘COVID-19 and the New Geography of the Everyday World’, which discusses the history and future of physical spaces in relation to public health, with focus on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Created in March 2020, the art references the hasty and homemade nature of early social distancing interventions, which was often tape across floors and hand written signs. This is juxtaposed against mid-century imagery.
